Adopt an active Air Force Unit

Longwood Cheerleading takes part in taking care of our veterans/troops every Veteran’s Day. This year we adopted a unit overseas. A Longwood Alumni has just arrived overseas in Iraq. The base his unit is on has very limited supplies (even basic toiletries). So this year we will be adopting their unit as an ENTIRE program. I know how much the simple every day amenities, that we all take for granted, will mean to all of them. Our mission is to make a huge impact on the lives of these men and women, who are sacrificing everything to protect us. We would like to Thank the Longwood community, Varsity, JV, JHS and our LYSA team for helping us reach our goal. We were successful and we were able to send two trunks full of food and toilets overseas to our brave men and women.
